APPLICATION PROCESS
How to apply
Scan and email the completed application along with all supplementary documents as one PDF document to the email address; app@verdegrisventures.com. You will receive a confirmation email once application has been reviewed and a separate email from the tenant screening service.
How to pay the application fee
Once the completed application has been submitted and reviewed each applicant will receive the email request from the screening service, TransUnion SmartMove. Every occupant 18 years of age and older must apply and have a separate email address. You must use the link included in the email to login to the site. The non-refundable application fee is $50.00 plus tax payable by credit or debit card online via TransUnion. No other credit reporting documents will be accepted. TransUnion SmartMove customer service phone number is 1-866-775-0961.
Processing time
Applications are processed within a few hours. Applications that have not cleared after 2 business days will be denied.

Denied applicants, will receive the application feedback via email. If one applicant is denied, all co-applicants will also be considered denied.

Approved applicants will receive the lease offer via email.
Once approved & deposit to hold
Once application is approved, applicant has 1 business day to proceed with either of the following;

Immediate move-in
Security deposit and first months’ rent, or pro-rate rent are due, in full. Lease will be signed, and you will be given access to the property immediately.

Deposit to hold policy
The security deposit, in full, may be paid to hold a property for up to 14 calendar days. On the 15th calendar day, the first month rent or pro-rate rent (if applicable) and are due, in full. Access to the property is given until all funds are paid. On the 15th day, the lease will be signed, and you will be given access to the property. If you are not ready on the 15th day or if you change your mind, THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
Methods of Payment Accepted
Move-in funds must be in the form of cashier’s check or cash to ensure funds clear immediately. Deposit and pro-rate/rent must be paid in separate items. Monthly payments will be required to be paid in the form of ACH/automatic bank withdrawal by signing up for a third party ACH payment site. No other methods of payment are accepted.
